Paul was born in Leicestershire and moved to Sussex as a child. He enjoys painting a broad range of subjects, but has a special interest in urban landscapes, interiors and beach scenes. He works principally in oils and occasionally in watercolour and acrylics.

Despite only deciding to exhibit his work in recent years, PaulÕs paintings have been quickly appreciated and feature in collections across the United Kingdom, France, South America, Canada and the United Arab Emirates. Paul draws much of his inspiration from his life in Sussex and from holidays in the West Country and abroad. Particular places, people and light are invariably the starting point for his works.
