Bill
began his love of art in 1958 which led to his joining an evening class
in Carshalton in Surrey. From here he moved onto art schools in Sutton
and Epsom to study portrait painting. This culminated in an A Level
certificate which gained him entry to a City & Guilds course at Kennington
to study Life Drawing & Portraiture.

Bill has completed a number of portrait commissions and has had a number
of exhibitions, including: The Kenley Gallery, Thorndyke, Worthing Museum
and The Art Centre in Chichester.
He won the Juliet Pannet Award at the West Sussex Art Society Exhibition 2000. His work is also currently featured in the Wavelength Gallery in Falmouth. |
